CohnReznick Transaction Advisory Services Manager in New York, New York

TITLE: Transaction Advisory Services Manager DUTIES: Lead the examination, analysis, and interpretation of CohnReznick’s buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for both private equity and strategic corporate buyers and sellers, to include preparation of complicated excel analyses. Manage the financial analysis of operations, technology values, organizational structures, and buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, in support of CohnReznick’s profitability goals and loss mitigation. Provide background knowledge related to distribution, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, and other industries represented by our clients for due diligence purposes. Execute and complete trending analyses of historical financial statements to identify sustainable earnings, business drivers, potential risks, and working capital in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, technology, and healthcare. Analyze target company data, via excel analyses, to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations and potential liabilities and risk which impact valuation and negotiation of the target company. Compose engagement reports and other deliverables to client management, in order to communicate progress of engagements, meet client deadlines, and keep superiors informed of key findings and expected timetables. This position requires 10% domestic travel. Remote work is permitted. SALARY: $152,500-$175,000/year LOCATION: CohnReznick LLP, 1301 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10019 REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience as an Accountant, Accounting Officer, Senior Associate, Audit Associate, Audit Partner, Auditor, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor or a closely related occupation. SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires three (3) years of experience in the following: Strong knowledge on U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, ISA, IFRS and PACOB;Core financial statement analytical skills and identify any variances and departures of U.S. GAAP;Draft client deliverables and thoroughly reviewing all deliverables for content, thoroughness, accuracy and proper formatting;Strong executive presence and communication skills, deep technical accounting, and industry knowledge; andReviewing and understanding company's business and its processes through Management meetings.
