Paramount Vice President, Digital Creative & Social Media in New York, New York

Overview & Responsibilities:

Paramount Kids & Family Global Marketing is seeking a Vice President, Digital & Social Creative to lead the digital and social content team within the global creative group. This role encompasses leading all aspects of creative execution for digital assignments, including website and app builds, alongside spearheading social media creative execution with an acute understanding of social trends. A significant requirement is extensive experience managing large teams, with a focus on blending creative expertise with business savvy in a cross-functional environment.

This position will manage branded accounts, ensuring adherence to social industry standards while driving innovative, impactful creative solutions. Finally, the ideal candidate has a passion for youth culture, comedy and the occasional sliming!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead and manage a first class 25+ creative team, encouraging a culture of excellence, and providing empowerment and motivation.

  • Set and maintain high-quality standards in digital & social creative for all K&F IP launches and Franchises globally including Nickelodeon, Nick JR, and affiliated property accounts.

  • Drive ongoing innovation and creative experimentation in the marketing team including championing the use of new tools, formats and ways of working across channels.

  • Act as a primary creative partner with showrunners and talent to develop digital and social content extensions.

  • Partner with Creative, Marketing, Gaming and Creator teams to establish new standard procedures for digital-first content creation.

  • Prepare and present creative presentations to internal and external partners.

  • Provide creative direction and guidance on social video productions.

  • Build a creative organization that functions as creators, end-to-end production, and operates efficiently.

  • Provide creative oversight for website and app builds, ensuring alignment with brand standards and objectives & enhancing digital production capabilities across platforms.

  • Collaborate with product and development teams and 3rd party vendors on UX & UI design and functionality for all interactive projects.

  • Ensure that website and app designs effectively communicate brand messaging and engage users.

  • Lead selection and management of 3rd party vendors and agencies for collaboration on various projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in social/digital creative development, ideally in TV, Technology, Media, or Lifestyle brands.

  • Extensive experience managing large teams and driving creative vision.

  • Strong understanding of web-based digital content, social platform standards, and trends.

  • Fluency in User Experience industry standards & mobile-first design.

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere.

  • Deep knowledge of upcoming social platforms and mobile/social video trends.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Bachelors degree required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $180,000.00 - 215,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is bonus eligible.
