JOB DUTIES: (F/T) Monitor and manage the risk of assigned investment portfolio. Respond to intraday pricing and interest rate moves, partner with researchers on new trading ideas, and work with other sales traders on developing relationships with institutional and broker-dealer clients. Closely monitor intraday positions and changes in portfolio composition across a number of dimensions, such as sector, duration, rating, etc. Communicate changes in market dynamics, such as order flows, interest rates, and client activity, to other members of the trading desk and senior management. Review and validate the release of new trading parameters. Work closely with quantitative researchers on developing and then testing new trading ideas and strategy terms. Partner with other sales traders on developing client relationships and providing targeted liquidity to clients.SALARY: $173,555 - $200,000 per yearJOB REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as Quantitative Trader, Quantitative Analyst, or related position involving quantitative trading. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Municipal trading, specifically at a firm that employs automated trading strategies; Statistical and quantitative techniques in a trading-related context; Bond markets in an algorithmic/ automated trading context; Conducting quantitative research; Software development for designing, writing, and testing strategy logic; and, Use of Python, C++, SQL, and Excel-VBA to write and modify algorithms for market making and running analysis on transaction-related and market data.
