Job Description
An international bank is looking for a VMware Engineer to join their Technology Infrastructure and Engineering group for a contract to hire assignment. The role would be focused on engineering and operating a Hyperconverged VMware stack running on VXRails. Long term, this role would help transition VMware infrastructure to Azure Cloud alongside the existing Cloud team. Any Scripting (PowerShell/Python) experience is nice to have. This resource can be local to the NYC, Miami or LA area and will work in a hybrid onsite model (twice a week).

Skills and Requirements
6+ years of experience as a VMware Engineer with Best Practice deployment for scale and reliability
Strong experience with VMware operation support, networking operational support, hyperconverged storage operational support and operational monitoring with 3rd party tool
Experience troubleshooting network, VMware, and driver/firmware issues
Excellent understanding of all round networking and firewall principles - Python/PowerShell scripting/automation capability
Azure Cloud foundational understanding null
