Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Newark, Delaware

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and take on the responsibility of repairing and maintaining all types of machinery, welding equipment, and mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components. This role also involves basic facility maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with older manufacturing equipment in a non-temperature controlled environment.

Hard Skills

  • Troubleshooting PLCs

  • Machinery repair and replacement

  • Experienced with 480v

  • Reading & interpreting blueprints

  • Basic math calculations

  • Operating hand/power tools

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving

  • Attention to detail

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Newark, Delaware.

Work Environment

Shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The work environment is non-temperature controlled, varying with the seasons. Our manufacturing setting is older but maintains a family-oriented atmosphere where everyone is friendly and familiar.
