Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Service Manager 2 for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, located in Newark New Jersey. This is over a 600-bed acute care facility. In this role you will be responsible for the Environmental Service Department. This is a 10 am. to 6 p.m shift, with alternate weekends and holiday. This position will report to a Client Executive on - site.

This experienced individual with have the opportunity to work in the Healthcare system's flagship account along with a seasoned team in a long-term Sodexo Account.
We are looking for candidates who can:
Implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve patient satisfaction and throughput.
Interact with patients and the staff
Perform HR functions including hiring, orientation, training, payroll and direct supervision and development
Maintain safety documentation and training for unit
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
Strong management skills, preferably in health care
Strong team building and employee engagement skills
Strong hospitality focus - be engaged and interactive with all our customers and employees
Strong drive to make things happen
Knowledge of best practices in Patient safety

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
