Position Summary:
We are seeking to recruit a Hourly Research Analyst to work on the Modeling and Simulation of multi-phase flow using lattice Boltzmann method.
Essential Functions:
Design, develop, and validate computational models and simulations for multiphase flow simulation.
Analyze simulation data to extract meaningful insights and understand the behavior of the flow under various parametric study.
Document all phases of research and development, prepare reports, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Address and troubleshoot issues related to model setup, convergence, and the interpretation of results.
Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for specific research projects to ensure milestones are met and results are delivered on schedule.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
Must have a Ph.D. degree in Engineering, or Computational Science or a related technical field.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to write technical reports and manuscripts.
At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in programming, numerical modeling, high-performance scientific computing, and computational fluid dynamics.
