Adecco US, Inc. Medical Biller in Newark, New York

Adecco Medical & Science is hiring a Medical Biller in Newark, NY ! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Contract with opportunity for extension or full time offer

Pay: $18 to $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities of the Medical Biller:

  • Responsible for general aspects of billing and payment collection.

  • Process claims and handle clearing house rejections.

  • Resolve denial instances.

  • Post charges.

  • Post payments.

  • Monitor accounts receivable.

  • Work with insurance companies on disputed claims and processing issues.

  • Update tracking spreadsheets.

  • Interact virtually with clients on billing and payment matters.

  • Assist with incoming mail.

  • Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion.

  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as necessary.

Qualifications for the Medical Biller:

  • Ability to work independently with a sense of personal ownership and ability to “get things done” as well as work as part of a team.

  • 2 years minimum of experience in accounts receivable field.

  • Medical Billing experience preferred.

  • Valid NYS Drivers’ License

  • Creative problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel skills.

  • Strong aptitude for written and verbal customer service.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
