PARK NATIONAL BANK Digital Forensics & Incident Response Jr Analyst in Newark, Ohio

Description RESPONSIBILITIES #Ll-Remote Conduct digital security investigations and analyze and document findings to incidents such as policy breaches, violations of standards of business conduct, security leaks, and other escalated information security incidents. Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and senior management as it relates to the technical and forensic aspects of escalated incidents and sensitive cases. Develop, implement, and refine industry best practices, procedures, and methodologies for conducting forensic review of internal platforms, applications, and information technology infrastructures. Collect and analyze forensic intrusion artifacts and maintain collection, storage, and preservation of evidence following strict control and chain of custody. Interview subjects, witnesses, subject matter experts, and others as needed, in order to verify investigative information. Communicate complex technical or evidentiary information and findings with internal customers and law enforcement agencies, if necessary. Develop investigative plans, derive root causes from case facts, and prepare executive level briefings. Proactively research new forensic technologies and current malicious technologies applicable across the enterprise, including continuous assessment of the forensic implications of evolving and recent technologies, platforms, applications, and data structures. Keep abreast of developments in the areas of privacy and legal issues internationally. Provide feedback and make recommendations for remediation, process improvements, and policy changes. Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred. Coursework in forensic sciences preferred. One or more digital forensic certifications such as the GCFE, GCFA, GBFA, CFCE, EnCE, ACE, GCFA, or GNFA preferred OR ability to obtain within 3-6 months. 2+yrs experience in extensive host forensic analysis skills including strong hardware knowledge and skills, particularly with media and data storage, forensic imaging, and detailed file system level analysis. SCHEDULE Typical office hours are M-F 8a-5p. This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week. This position is fully remote. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant communication with customers and coworkers to discuss and observe account information in order to exchange accurate information.
