Job Summary:
As the Quality and Process Engineer you will design and develop manufacturing processes and systems improving quality, reducing cost, and increasing production output.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site in Newberry, SC. Sponsorship is not offered for this role
What you will do:
Site leader for Braze Excellence program
Develop, support, and maintain Brazing and Welding certification processes
Evaluate and implement innovative, cost effective, safe, manufacturing processes and techniques which will improve the effectiveness of the manufacturing operations and business systems
Lead effort with various functional team members collaborating to improve designs, processes, and equipment while enhancing design for manufacturability and customer facing quality.
Leverage customer feedback to improve processes with feedback into design to track design improvements leveraging Braze Excellence standards.
Design and implement sub-assemblies and fixtures to improve quality, shorten product cycle times, and ergonomics.
Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause / effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning
Support various areas with quality improvements and projects
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous manufacturing experience required
Project Management and CAD experience is preferred
Knowledge and demonstrated ability to implement Lean-Six Sigma processes
Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.
Brazing and/or Welding knowledge/experience preferred
This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
