Insight Global Business Systems Analyst in Newport Beach, California

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a candidate for their client located in SoCal. This resource will help define business processes and system alignment. Translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions. Strategic partner, acting as liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff. Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly. Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc. Implement system alignment with business processes. As well as perform data analysis and reporting for clients. The position is onsite five days a week in Newport Beach, CA

Skills and Requirements

-Overall Experience (3-5 Years): The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three to five years of professional experience. This experience can span various roles, industries, or domains.

-Healthcare Expertise (2+ Years, Insurance Data): Specifically, the candidate should possess at least two years of specialized experience within the healthcare sector, focusing on insurance data. This could involve analyzing claims data, managing health records, or working with health insurance providers.

-Technical Skills:

Web Application Support: The candidate should be proficient in supporting web applications. This includes troubleshooting issues, ensuring smooth functionality, and addressing user inquiries related to web-based tools.

Training: Experience in providing training--whether to end-users, colleagues, or clients--is valuable. The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and facilitate learning is essential.

Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting skills are crucial for identifying and resolving technical issues promptly. This could involve debugging code, diagnosing system errors, or addressing user-reported problems.

Big Data Migrations: Familiarity with managing large-scale data migrations is advantageous. This might include transferring data between systems, ensuring data integrity, and minimizing downtime during migrations.

-Soft Skills:

Organizational Skills: The candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational abilities. This includes managing tasks, prioritizing work, and maintaining order in a dynamic environment.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills--both written and verbal--are essential. Effective communication ensures clear collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and end-users.

Educational Requirement: A bachelor's degree is mandatory for this position. The degree field may vary, but having completed a bachelor's program is a prerequisite. -Health Level 7 (HL7) Expertise:

The candidate should have familiarity with HL7 standards, which are widely used for exchanging healthcare information between systems. This includes understanding HL7 message formats, data elements, and interoperability.

Experience in implementing HL7 interfaces or working with HL7 messages (e.g., ADT, ORM, ORU) would be advantageous.

-MIRTH:

MIRTH Connect is an open-source integration engine commonly used in healthcare settings. The candidate should have experience with MIRTH for data transformation, routing, and interfacing.

Proficiency in configuring MIRTH channels, creating custom scripts, and handling message routing is desirable.

-Tableau:

Knowledge of Tableau, a powerful data visualization tool, is valuable. The candidate should be able to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations from healthcare data.

Experience in connecting Tableau to various data sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets) and designing meaningful visualizations is a plus.

-User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

The candidate should be familiar with UAT processes. UAT involves validating software or system changes from an end-user perspective.

Experience in creating UAT test cases, executing tests, and documenting results is essential. null
