Kforce HR Employee Relations Specialist in Newport Beach, California

Kforce has a client that is seeking an HR Employee Relations Specialist in Newport Beach, CA.Key Tasks: * HR Employee Relations Specialist will be part of a Team that has recently undergone a global build-out and implementations of Workday and ServiceNow * Partner with HR Business Partners/Employee Relations teams to support Client talent globally * Consult with business leaders to design/implement people strategies to attract, retain, develop top talent * Provide guidance to people leaders, leveraging deep knowledge of the business to evaluate what is needed to support business objectives and accelerate employee success and career growth * As a HR Employee Relations Specialist, you will collaborate with the broader HR team on initiatives related to talent management, organizational design, compensation, and workforce planning * Acts as an advisor for the HR team for any aspect of employment related risk, provides oversight and governance for employment related policies, oversees immigration program management, and partners on special projects such as legislative or regulatory change projects * HR Employee Relations Specialists provide program execution and day to day support related to these efforts * Understand and execute on Client's end-to-end HR business processes across the employee lifecycle Participate in all levels of coordination to support HR Business Partner and Employee Relations efforts, including but not limited to: * Onboarding/offboarding support * Business-specific talent development efforts, such as coordinating talent reviews and performance management processes * Employee relations assistance, such as education, investigation, documentation * Employee relocations, such as liaising with vendors, employees, and others to ensure a smooth process * Immigration processes * Business-specific data and reporting efforts * Bachelor's degree * 2-4 years of related experience, preferably in an HRBP support capacity * Familiarity with state and federal employment law * Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Working knowledge of Workday and/or ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platforms * Flexible to work overtime as required, in-line with business needs * High level of integrity; Ability to handle confidential information ethically, professionally, and appropriately * Thrives while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency for all requests * Affinity for technology, ability to think with a -tech mindset-, and interest in or knowledge of new HR technologies such as ServiceNow & Workday * Proven ability to provide excellent customer service with strong attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness * Strong collaboration skills, effective at gathering and synthesizing information from multiple parties * Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize while meeting rigorous deadlines; Displays results orientation * Strong critical evaluation skills - ability to apply sound judgement and identify the root causes of problems through an expanded, holistic view vs. looking at smaller, discrete parts or at symptoms in isolation * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) * Highly professional manner, with the ability to interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
