Ferguson has an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise PMO Program Manager who will oversee, align and drive key strategic programs to enable efficient program execution.

Location: This is a Hybrid role based out of Newport News, VA HQ, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote. May consider remote for the right individual outside of the Newport News area.

About the Role:

  • Capture, maintain, and provide insight to high-level execution roadmaps.

  • Engage with Directors and Vice Presidents on critical initiatives.

  • identify interdependencies, drive cross functional alignment, and work closely with project teams and initiative owners.

  • lead efforts to remove major risks and barriers.

  • Consults and evaluates strategic plans and approved initiatives to help communicate goals, desired timeframes, budget, resource requirements, business impact, and execution constraints

  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to identify, understand, and capture program key execution achievement schedules

  • Leads effort to ensure alignment across collaborators and supporting functions throughout execution lifecycle to achieve planned outcomes

  • Develops, communicates, collaborates, aligns, and enables teams to complete established plans within established timeframes

  • Ensures proper project documentation including scope statements, schedules, and budgets occur as defined and appropriate

  • Analyzes, assesses, and recommends potential risks and issues of execution plans identifying interdependencies while focusing on both efficient execution and the development of strategic thought throughout the organization as it relates to initiative planning and execution

  • Works to drive governance and efficiency of process used to capture and maintain execution plans and enable efficient execution with as little bureaucracy as possible

  • Ensures consistent visibility of program business objectives, program achievements, and key performance indicators

  • Provide regular status updates on program progress

Preferred Experience and Requirements to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR 4+ years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management

  • Proficient collaboration and facilitation skills

  • Experience across multiple project types including technology and non-technology projects

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project)

  • Previous work-related experiences managing programs and analyzing complex execution plans, managing and/or facilitating identification of risks, issues and decisions and driving general governance and alignment.

  • Eye for business, ability to collaborate and influence all personality types, and facilitate efficiently is key.

  • Solid understanding in project management, principles and practices for planning, scheduling, resource allocation, monitoring, and evaluating projects.

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem solving and resolution

  • Able to drive decision making across all levels of the organization, across multi-disciplined and matrixed teams

  • Strong team building, coaching, and development skills

  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities

  • Ability to plan and implement short and long term project plans and goals

  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports

Pay Range:

$7,425.00 - $12,100.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
