The role involves carrying out professional tasks related to the creation and delivery of educational programs and activities centered around the environment, history, and culture at Little Buffalo State Park. This includes planning, developing, coordinating, and presenting various educational and interpretive programs that focus on the park's environmental and historical aspects. The responsibilities encompass all stages of program development, from creating lesson plans and scheduling to implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the effectiveness of the programs. Additionally, the position involves facilitating educational activities through interactive learning experiences, audiovisual presentations, workshops for teachers, and other programs that promote environmental and historical learning.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Seasonal Full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from March through November. Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch. Weekends, holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree in environmental education, education, the natural sciences, social sciences, or parks and recreation; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree. Conditions of Employment:
