Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk, situated in Newton, Massachusetts. The role is an excellent opportunity if you are entry level, yet have excellent customer service skills and looking to expand your knowledge in accounting.
This company is one of the largest, rapidly growing Real Estate & Property Management firm's where you will be gaining much exposure to support a portfolio of properties.
The job function involves maintaining efficient communication regarding balances and billing, and setting up late processes.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a support for a portfolio of properties within the real estate industry
• Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about balances and billing
• Set up late processes to ensure timely payments
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders about balances
• Ensure the smooth running of accounts receivable operations without the need for collections tasks
• Use your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain customer credit records with utmost accuracy
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments.
Requirements
• No Experience in Accounting Required!
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software
• High level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry and financial record keeping
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
