Actalent Architectural Designer in Newtown, Connecticut
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts that meet their requirements.
Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure designs are feasible and compliant with local regulations.
Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Prepare and present design proposals, including renderings and presentations, to clients and stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and best practices to ensure designs are innovative and compliant.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on design-related issues and solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Architectural Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Creative and innovative thinking with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
