As an Information Systems Engineer Senior / Senior Network Engineer you will be engaged in a dynamic, challenging and rewarding role supporting operational and project implementation initiatives for our diverse network infrastructure. The span of our architecture and infrastructure includes datacenter, SD-WAN, firewall, cloud, wireless, VPN, access-control, network monitoring, DDOS and load-balancing. As part of a 9 member team of Engineers you will work closely with manufacturers, vendors, clients, and business partners in support of extensive application supply chains in the delivery of our services. As our business grows and evolves, we need an Engineer who is eager to meet these challenges and grow with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of all Enterprise network systems.

  • Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN and Wireless systems to help design and install internal and external networks.

  • Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

  • Familiar with a variety of network infrastructure concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

  • May lead and direct the work of others.

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near and long-term network capacity needs.

  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.

  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.

  • Will need to participate in 24/7 on-call on a regular, periodic basis.

Qualifications / Education:

  • At least ten (10) years of experience with Network switching, routing and firewalls.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience is a plus.

  • Certifications are preferred:CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.

Experience needed with below technologies for this job:

  • Routing protocols EIGRP, BGP, OSPF.

  • VPN technologies like Anyconnect, IPSEC and DMVPN

  • Cisco ACI & Nexus 9k’s, 7K’s and 3K’s.

  • Configuration and troubleshooting Cisco Wireless and Meraki.

  • Catalyst switches with VTP, spanning tree and Virtual Stacking.

  • Cisco SD-WAN or other SD-WAN technology

  • Palo Alto’s, F5’s and Cisco ISE.
