SAP America, Inc. Senior Support Engineer in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Support Engineer in Newtown Square, PA detailed design and implementation of business processes; enforces innovation, service offerings and productization. Core Tasks include: evaluation of innovative industry- and technology- trends and development of corresponding industry process- and solution-maps. Support for internal strategic portfolio planning. Enforcement of industry-specific service-offerings. Detailed design of industry-specific / corporate customer processes. Identification of enterprise services. Proposal of software-decisions (SAP-/Non-SAP-products) within the customer Process-, Application- and IT-landscape based on BPP. Mapping of business process to enterprise IT-architecture. Define requirements for individual development or integration needs. Performance of reviews (process oriented and relation to IT-mapping). Define corresponding organizational structure. Map and validate performance indicators (designed by Transf. Manager). Implementation of designed processes.
Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Position requires 4 years of experience involving each of the following:
- Technical and functional knowledge of SAP Finance modules and SAP Controlling Modules;
- Implementation experience of SAP Finance functionality;
- Application support skills to support SAP Finance functionality;
- SAP Netweaver Architecture knowledge;
- Business Process performance optimization skills; and
- Analysis of SAP Finance core business processes and related interfaces.
Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted. Position can be based in any U.S. location.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,133 - $149,776. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,133 - $170,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
