Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst will have responsibilities for the global Intercompany processes, statutory audit, forecasting and process improvements.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
The development of strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners especially Tax and Treasury.
Work with the external auditors on the completion of the annual statutory audit.
Provide assistance with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Manage, train, and provide guidance and direction to global finance teams.
Maintain ledger integrity and ensures financial compliance with the worldwide Controller’s manual and to all applicable laws and regulations.
Help develop, maintain and assess internal controls related to accounting and financial reporting systems.
Manage the overall process effectively, reporting KPI’s and enhancing and streamlining the effectiveness of the process.
Recommend changes in processes and/or policies that identify and utilize technologies that will provide efficiencies.
Develop, measure, report and consistently meet appropriate service level targets for all major processes.
Responsibility for Accounting SOX Compliance and controls for intercompany activity.
Basic Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience and Finance/Business degree.
Qualified Accountant.
Proven knowledge of accounting principles.
Knowledge of local statutory and tax reporting requirements.
Detailed knowledge and experience of SOX Compliance.
Experience of dealing with external and internal audit functions.
Working knowledge and experience of Oracle or similar ERP product.
Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, and Word) required.
Self-starter and able to act on own initiative.
Proven analytical ability and creative problem solving skills.
Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, working under pressure and meeting strict reporting deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written, presentational).
Project Management skills and experience desirable.
