Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst will have responsibilities for the global Intercompany processes, statutory audit, forecasting and process improvements.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • The development of strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners especially Tax and Treasury.

  • Work with the external auditors on the completion of the annual statutory audit.

  • Provide assistance with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Manage, train, and provide guidance and direction to global finance teams.

  • Maintain ledger integrity and ensures financial compliance with the worldwide Controller’s manual and to all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Help develop, maintain and assess internal controls related to accounting and financial reporting systems.

  • Manage the overall process effectively, reporting KPI’s and enhancing and streamlining the effectiveness of the process.

  • Recommend changes in processes and/or policies that identify and utilize technologies that will provide efficiencies.

  • Develop, measure, report and consistently meet appropriate service level targets for all major processes.

  • Responsibility for Accounting SOX Compliance and controls for intercompany activity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience and Finance/Business degree.

  • Qualified Accountant.

  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles.

  • Knowledge of local statutory and tax reporting requirements.

  • Detailed knowledge and experience of SOX Compliance.

  • Experience of dealing with external and internal audit functions.

  • Working knowledge and experience of Oracle or similar ERP product.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, and Word) required.

  • Self-starter and able to act on own initiative.

  • Proven analytical ability and creative problem solving skills.

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, working under pressure and meeting strict reporting deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written, presentational).

  • Project Management skills and experience desirable.
