ManpowerGroup Maintenance Tech Food Manufacturing in Niwot, Colorado

Manpower is seeking 4 FT Maintenance Techs preferably working on machines in food manufacturing environment for Direct Hire Permanent positions for our client in Niwot, CO. There are 2 first and 2 second shift positions.

Position Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our client in ensuring their manufacturing operations run safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will handle both preventative and corrective maintenance for production machinery and facility needs.

Schedule :

1st Shift - Start time between 5 - 8 am - Work an 8 - 10 hour day

2nd Shift - Start time between 1 - 3 pm - Work an 8 - 10 hour day.

Pay: $28 - $35/hour based upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on production equipment, ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as they arise, which may include on-call duties or remote troubleshooting.

  • Operate and inspect machinery to diagnose defects and enhance efficiency (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

  • Diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul equipment, including dismantling and reassembling using power and hand tools.

  • Evaluate and repair or replace damaged or worn parts as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with other departments, management, and employees regarding production-related issues or concerns.

  • Develop, modify, and teach Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures to the Operations team.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

  • Serve as a backup operator when necessary, ensuring operations continue smoothly.

  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and efficiently.

  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.

  • Follow all required safety practices and participate in company safety and production meetings.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding conditions.

  • Work in a production environment that may involve exposure to wet conditions, moderate noise levels, and varying temperatures, including freezers and refrigerated areas.

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to foster a positive work environment.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a high sense of urgency.

  • Flexibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Experience with equipment maintenance, preferably with expertise in mechanical, electrical, or control systems.

  • Critical thinking and root cause analysis skills.

  • Vocational training or related manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, OSHA, FDA, and other regulatory and safety requirements.
