Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing facilities maintenance to a portfolio of Medical Office Buildings in the Indianapolis area. This position entails maintenance of HVAC systems, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and performing monthly preventive maintenance.

M-F: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hard Skills

  • HVAC system maintenance

  • Minor electrical repairs

  • Plumbing repairs

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems

  • Repair/replacement of facility lighting, ballast, switches, and receptacles

  • Generator load transfers

  • Fire alarm systems understanding

  • Fire system impairment for testing and construction

  • Water treatment understanding

  • Wet sprinkler systems knowledge

  • Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment

  • Building management systems adjustments

  • Preventive maintenance

  • Ordering materials and contractor services

  • Basic hand tools usage

  • Multi meter troubleshooting

  • Commercial electrical systems understanding

Work Environment

  • The work environment is in a Medical Building setting, such as outpatient centers or surgery centers. Individuals need to be open to working in these environments. The Facilities Maintenance Technician needs to be open to travelling to a couple buildings they will be overseeing in a clustered region.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
