Primary Responsibilities:
Works across the OHFT (Optum Health & Financial Technology and Platforms) portfolios, while partnering at all levels of management and leadership in managing our growth strategy
Serve as the main point of contact within OHFT for the Optum Technology emerging talent programs both domestic and global (e.g.TDP, Interns, Women's Reboot)
Initiate and drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure system efficiency in support of business needs regarding the OHFT workforce metrics. This includes ongoing reporting and communications related to non-compliant timesheets, administrative hours, contractor onboarding / offboarding, financials
Demonstrates strategic thinking by using appropriate information to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and collaborate with impacted groups to drive decisions
Communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing; conduct meetings and make professional presentations using PowerPoint
Organize and manage time; establish priorities and coordinate work on many projects simultaneously
Ability to work closely with onshore and offshore resources, Domain SMEs and leads to understand business needs and help define requirements for reporting solutions if needed.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Solid analytical, complex thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Prepare and communicate delivery status to stakeholders, including progress, obstacles, risks
Translate highly complex concepts that can be understood by variety of audiences
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Demonstrated ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Demonstrated ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
Proven solid analytical, complex thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience, preferably in workforce management or healthcare field
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Excel/Access/PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to be an exceptional communicator - verbal, written, and listening
Demonstrated ability to be organized, process-oriented, thorough, and detail-oriented
Demonstrated ability to stay nimble and flexible as priorities shift and the team scales
Demonstrated ability to collaborate well and can quickly adapt to different individuals’ work styles
