Primary Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize complex batch and real-time data pipelines
Develop and maintain sophisticated ETL processes for multiple data sources
Create advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
Lead the deployment and maintenance of data pipelines on cloud platforms
Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization of SQL and SSIS processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data integration solutions
Mentor junior team members in SQL development and data integration best practices
Implement and maintain robust data quality and data governance standards
Contribute to architectural decisions for data infrastructure

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
3-6 years of experience as a Microsoft T-SQL/SSIS Developer or similar role
Solid expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and other SQL technologies
Extensive experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and data migration
Experience with big data processing tools such as Databricks, Kafka, or Airflow
Proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data engineering
Experience in mentoring junior team members
Advanced proficiency in SQL programming, including complex query optimization and performance tuning
Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data integration patterns
Solid proficiency in at least two object-oriented languages: C#, Python, Scala, or Java
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Proven excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
