Hyatt Cook 4 (Lead) in Noord, Aruba

Description:

Cook 4 responsibilities are on a daily basis to monitor food production, quality and consistency, staffing levels and department training. Should be able to performall intermediate and advanced cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying, broiling and follow the standard recipes. This person will give direction in the supervisor's absence.

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

  • A desire to exceed guest's expectation

  • Refined verbal communication skills.

  • Computer skills.

  • 4 years of previous line experience is preferred.

  • A culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.

  • Candidate should be able to perform all advanced cooking skills.

  • In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations.

  • Able to work most stations of the kitchen.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to work under pressure.

  • A calm and friendly demeanor.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
