Aston Carter Payroll Clerk in Norco, California

Description:

Processing weekly payroll for all construction employees (union and nonunion), including calculating hours, commissions, bonuses, and deductions. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations** and reporting requirements. Preparing and submitting Certified Payroll Reports and Statements of Compliance Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records using LCPtracker Collaborating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data. Assisting with internal and external audits related to payroll. Union and nonunion reporting

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a payroll position, within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act and related labor laws. Proficiency in payroll software, preferably Sage Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills**
