The Department of Human Services, Norristown State Hospital is looking for a dedicated Clerical Assistant 2 to join us at our facility. This position is responsible for services in the hospital Communications Center. Great communication skills are a plus. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you are responsible for the operation of the Private Branch Exchange (PBX) telephone system attendant positions, the radio paging system, the two-way radio system, and the monitoring of the hospital fire alarm and emergency phone system. Clerical duties include assisting the Safety Department (safety manager, fire marshal, security personnel) with related duties pertaining, but not limited to, inspection reports, time sheets, and departmental spreadsheets.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs. Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
