Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated and driven Junior Project Manager with project management skills as well as experience with proposal management and capture management in a high complexity, highly dynamic environment. Overall responsibilities include managing proposal and business case development while working with the customer and leading internal and subcontractor teams in defining, capturing, and creating Antenna Business basis of estimates.

Essential Functions:

• Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives• Develop and implement mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients• Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract• Effectively communicate the L3Harris value proposition from a technical and programmatic perspective• Drive multiple integrated proposal teams toward success in meeting our objectives and customer requirements• Prepare proposals, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budget and financial terms/conditions of contract• Direct the work of employees assigned to the proposal from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience• Ability to manage external relationships

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active Clearance Preferred but not required• 2+ years of experience in a Business Development or Proposal Management Role• Experience with Basis of Estimate Structure and Development• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Strong communication skills, both oral and written• Ability to organize and coordinate customer visits• Ability to make effective decisions regarding the profitability and achievability of pursuits• Ability to communicate in a thorough, clear, and timely manner which supports information sharing and goal achievement• Proven experience developing broad, cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals, even when having no direct authority over them• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills• PMP Certificate

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $55,500-$103,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
