As Senior Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, direction, and coordination of all assigned maintenance and facility support activities. This includes leading our "Safety First" program, fostering customer relationships, developing, and mentoring employees, and ensuring compliance with company and customer policies. You will also be accountable for profit and loss, quality control, and maintenance process development, as well as all account administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Direction: Lead up to 100 technicians and 8 managers, and direct all maintenance and facility support activities, including safety, customer relations, employee development, and staffing.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards. Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.

  • Safety First: Develop and maintain maintenance processes and procedures, ensuring conformance to federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage salaried and hourly employees, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

  • Customer Relations: Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management or related field.

  • Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management, with experience in supervision, planning / scheduling, and estimating. Reliability experience strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience leading 80 or more employees in maintenance roles, including salaried employees

  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating and working with documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

  • Proficiency with a Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS)

  • Work schedule flexibility to accommodate client needs and availability to provide 24/7 on call support.

  • Flexibility to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Reliability experience strongly preferred

  • Membership and demonstrated active participation in industry related professional organizations (SMRP, IFMA, etc.) with applicable professional certification is desired.

Physical Demands:

  • Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment.

  • Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.

  • Regularly required to crouch or bend and reach to install/move equipment.

  • Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day.

  • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
