Sodexo Senior Director, NorAm Transformation in NORTH BETHESDA, Maryland

Unit Description

We are looking for an action-oriented Senior Director, NorAm Transformation leader who can work across functions with senior stakeholders to problem solve, drive decisions, and manage granular details of a high-change project while having a clear vision of the big picture. The measures of success for this role include financial outcomes and stakeholder NPS.

This role holder will have direct accountability for one of the highest priority, multi-year projects in the North America region with measurable financial results. This role is responsible for leadership alignment and rigor in tactical decision making and ensuring excellent execution of an accelerated project plan. The role requires expert engagement with internal stakeholders at the highest levels of the organization, and program management across nearly all back-office functions (HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, etc) and across geographies (NorAm, other regions/countries, Group)

The Senior Director, NorAm Transformation responsibilities will include :

  • Advise and coordinate with cross-functional and cross-regional project manager(s) with the planning, design, and implementation of the project, including due diligence, project preparation (scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements).

  • Drive the establishment and follow-up of governance frameworks, especially the ones involving the NorAm team to govern the project and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Foster collaboration between different teams and driving accountability for project delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Legal, etc.

  • Lead the monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and suggesting mitigation strategies to address challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Deliver reports, presentations, and communications to provide updates on project status, key milestones, and performance metrics to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Past transformations program management experience – ideally involving a high degree of change management, cross functions, large teams.

  • Experience working directly on operating model and organizational design projects.

  • Institutional knowledge of Sodexo, the organization, how decisions are made, and how to navigate the matrix.
