Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey is looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Associate (average 19 hours pers week). •If you have flexibility to work various hours (Mon, Wed, Fri 12pm-6pm), and 2nd Saturday of every month (9:30am-2:30pm),•If you have prior work experience in a retail environment or customer service-based industry, •If you are a personable, self-starter who possess strong communication skills, •If you have strong attention to detail, and•If you are organized and motivated,Then this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will •provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers by portraying a positive image of Girl Scouting,•manage the opening and closing of the retail shop,•send daily reports to finance department,•process customer transactions (sales and returns) following GSHNJ retail policies and procedures (sales can be in person, by phone, email, online, or via mail-order),•keep the shop neat and clean, •create and maintain appealing displays and use upselling techniques to increase sales,•receive, inspect, count, and enter merchandise orders, into the point of sale (POS), in a timely fashion,•maintain and monitor inventory including reporting discrepancies to the Retail Manager and assisting with preparing, counting, and processing annual and special inventories.The pay rate is $15.13 / hour.
