Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Specialty Software Engineer in North Brunswick, NJ.

Job Role and Responsibility: Design low latency eTrading applications for Fixed Income asset classes such as Credit and Municipal Bonds. Implement complex micro Uls in JavaScript/Typescript, Angular, AgGrid and other third party UI libraries. Leverage OpenFin or similar Desktop container and workspace libraries to build Industry standard FDC3 micro applications that can interact with each other and other external applications such Bloomberg Terminal and Salesforce via OpenFin API. Engage Product Management and Business Users to understand requirements, document them, and establish a concrete Book of work for the team to build, test, and deploy the features. Provide second level of Support to assist the Primary Production Support team and investigate and troubleshoot daily Production Issues. Mentor junior talent in the team and provide guidance on the applications we develop in terms of design and technical solutions. Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Travel required: 20% domestic travel required.

Required Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React;

• Experience with JSON, REST, XML, SOAP Web Services;

• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, AMPs, MemSQL;

• Experience with Enterprise Messaging Bus Service using Solace or TibcoRV;

• Experience with Test Automation, Selenium, Performance/Stress Testing;

• Experience with Web Servers (like Apache Tomcat, IIS, nginx);

• Experience with Headless Web Containers like OpenFin, Glue42, FinSemble;

• Experience with Bond Price and Position Management;

• Experience with Trade booking and Request For Quote workflows; and

• Experience with Bond Pricing using Spreads, PNL, and Trading Risk calculations.
