What You Will Do
- JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, responsible for the change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. Works to continually improve and enhance the Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing projects that align to the product road map.
- WHAT YOU WILL DO
Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, organization wide defaults (OWD), and sharing rules.
Supports and Partners with IT to deploy Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports and sandbox environment management.
Responsible for administration and setup of key internal promotions, buydowns, and other customer facing programs.
Identifies and gathers requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business with a focus on exceptional user experience.
Identifies where enhancement opportunities exist by leveraging unused or underutilized platform features.
Partners with sales systems leadership and stakeholders to assist in the creation the platform roadmap and priorities.
Owns the communication of platform changes to end users and stakeholders via myTrailhead and release notes.
Works with integrated applications including Salesforce.com CG Cloud, Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Solutions, PowerBI, Customer Portal, SAP, etc.
Responsible for data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed.
Proactively manages system maintenance and administration including (but not limited to): security reviews, release updates, health check, and Optimizer.
Monitors and responds timely to user support tickets.
Monitors user activity to make recommendations on continuous improvement to strengthen user adoption, encouraging user growth.
Partners with People and Culture to build and maintain myTrailhead content that supports new users onboarding and ongoing training.
Develops and maintains technical documentation.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance or related field of study and 3+ years related work experience.
Related work experience to include:
3+ years of relevant, hands-on Salesforce administration experience, specific to Sales Cloud and/or Consumer Goods Cloud
Implementation of Salesforce configuration changes
Must be 21 years of age or older
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
Knowledge of:
Strong Salesforce product knowledge
Expertise in the implementation of configuration changes of Salesforce including: Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
Expertise in Sales Cloud and/or Consumer Goods Cloud with a working knowledge of other integrated functions
Project management methodologies and business system analysis techniques
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
Skilled in:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, IT or related field of study and 3+ years related work experience.
Related work experience to include:
1+ years supervisory experience
Working within Sales, Customer Service, Consumer Goods, and/or Tobacco industry.
Active involvement in the Salesforce community
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
Other advanced Salesforce certifications
Work Environment and Physical Demand
Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs).
Reach and grasp objects / hand eye coordination.
Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
