What You Will Do

  • JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the alignment of people, process, and technologies with the company's sales and enterprise strategies in partnership with key stakeholders. Works to enable, support, and enhance the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system and sales technology solutions in alignment with enterprise strategy and CRM roadmap, ensuring the sales organization is enabled with a consistent platform that drives value across the entire sales cycle while reducing variability in performance and user experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides subject matter expertise of Salesforce (CRM, TPM, Maps, Retail Execution App, and CRMA) solutions and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement in processes and sales technologies to drive value across the sales cycle.

  • Recommends solutions or improvements to processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.

  • Research business requirements, develops detailed specifications, and validates the solutions with stakeholders.

  • Evaluates effectiveness of sales activities and resources in meeting departmental and enterprise goals.

  • Translates the commercial intent of Brand/Sales programs and drives seamless adjustments to adapt sales technologies to meet all field sales needs as requested.

  • Partners with IT to leverage best practices, tools, and sales technology solutions to drive enhancements to the company's sales enablement ecosystem.

  • Engages with key stakeholders to ensure projects deliver solutions that align with enterprise and sales technology roadmaps and strategies.

  • Ensures adoption and satisfaction of solutions throughout lifecycle (implementation to decommissioning).

  • Leads change management process through transformative sales initiatives.

  • Partners with I&I (Insights & Intelligence) to create dashboards and scorecards that provide actionable insights on Key Performance Metrics.

  • Works cross-functionally at various levels of the business to support and manage the activation of sales incentive plan activities.

  • Develops solutions to activate target and performance tracking.

  • Automates payment calculations.

  • Leads Salesforce Roadmap input and development sessions with managers, admins, and key stakeholders.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in processes and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Manages staff, including recommendations for hiring, PTO approvals, annual performance evaluations, and professional development.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, IT or related field of study and 7+ years related work experience.

  • Related work experience to include:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience working with Salesforce

  • Sales experience

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience

  • Sales process design and optimization

  • Learning concepts, training and development methods and techniques, including presentation, facilitation skills

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:

  • Must complete Salesforce Administrator certification (Salesforce Certified Administrator) within 12 months of start date.

Knowledge of:

  • Salesforce product knowledge

  • Process development, optimization, documentation, and KPI measurement

  • Project management methodologies and business system analysis techniques

  • Business strategies

  • Sales, Business Development, IT, CRM administration, and Sales Enablement

  • Program implementation and evaluation

  • Microsoft Office Professional or similar application

  • Travel domestically up to 10% of the time, as needed.

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study and 7+ years related work experience.

  • Related work experience includes:

  • 5+ years supervisory experience

  • Working within Sales, Customer Service, Consumer Goods, and/or Tobacco industry.

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and/or Consumer Goods Cloud.

  • 5-7 years sales exp in large consumer goods organization

  • Active involvement in the Salesforce community

Licenses, Registration, Certifications, Special Requirements:

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

  • Other advanced Salesforce certifications

Knowledge of:

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge

  • Expertise in the implementation of configuration changes of Salesforce including Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards

  • Expertise in Sales Cloud and/or Consumer Goods Cloud with a working knowledge of other integrated functions

Work Environment and Physical Demand

  • Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs).

  • Reach and grasp objects / hand eye coordination.

  • Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.

  • Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.

  • Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
