Are you an experienced housekeeper, passionate about serving others in a mental health environment? Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral is looking for you! We are currently recruiting for a Lead Housekeeper.

Position Summary

The Lead Housekeeper will provide and maintain a high level of sanitation, general readiness, and appearance of the assigned work area within the hospital. All interactions are appropriate and specific to the population(s) served.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and training new housekeepers.

· Assists with purchase orders, as needed.

· Responsible for assigning tasks on special projects.

Qualifications

Education: High School graduate or GED preferred.

Experience: Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Age-Specific Competencies: N/A

Licensure/Certification: CPI/CPR Certification required.

Other: Must be able to work alone or with others. Must be punctual and reliable. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Basic or general knowledge of applicable standards and regulations in a health care setting. Must have the ability to maintain self-control in volatile situations.

HIPAA: Does not have access to Medical Records. Access to PHI is incidental and unintentional.
