PDS Tech Inc Quality Control Inspector - 2nd Shift in North Charleston, South Carolina
Job Title: Quality Control Inspector - 2nd Shift
Start Date: As soon as cleared
Pay: $17/Hr
Location: Gloves Plant: North Charleston, SC 29405 (Near Azalea Dr and Leeds Ave)
Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 10 pm
Must Work over time 2 Saturdays at month and holidays
Standing up to 8 hours or more
Type: Contract-To-Hire - Looking to take on permanent if there are no issues with production, behavior, or attendance at the end of the contract.
Duration: 6-24 Months (depending on candidates work quality)
Requirements
Citizenship : Must be a US citizen
Education : Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Drug Screen : 5 panel (Checks for Marijuana)
Background Check : 7 years
- Must be flexibility to rotate between shifts and buildings as needed.
Description :
Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Works under immediate supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a supervisor.
Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.
Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
