Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical problems with machinery and equipment. Perform basic repairs using knowledge of general maintenance techniques, tools, and skills. Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance tasks including lubricating, aligning, adjusting, and cleaning. Perform basic welding for the repair and fabrication of mechanical equipment. Assist with electrical, hydraulic, PLC, combustion, and pneumatic systems. Read and understand schematics/blueprints. This is a multi-task job function that includes assisting mechanics and operators as necessary. Monitor the condition of equipment and make maximum use of planned outages.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues with machinery and equipment.
Perform basic repairs using general maintenance techniques, tools, and skills.
Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, including lubricating, aligning, adjusting, and cleaning.
Perform basic welding for the repair and fabrication of mechanical equipment.
Assist with electrical, hydraulic, PLC, combustion, and pneumatic systems as required.
Read and understand schematics/blueprints.
Assist mechanics and operators with various tasks as necessary.
Monitor equipment condition and optimize the use of planned outages.
Essential Skills
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and minor modifications.
Proficiency in motor control, 480V systems, and ladder logic.
Strong mechanical aptitude with some electrical experience.
Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Basic welding skills.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with minor PLC troubleshooting.
Experience in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Work Environment
Train on days: typically 7 AM to 3-4 PM for 6 months. Available shifts: 3 PM-11 PM, 11 PM-7 AM. Scheduled Monday-Friday with frequent overtime on Saturday/Sunday. Work 50-60 hours a week. The work environment is hot, heavy, loud, and dirty, involving metal extruding.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.27 - $32.27
