Cape Associates, Inc. Carpenter Journeyman in North Eastham, Massachusetts
We are seeking Journeymen carpenters to join the team at Cape Associates, Inc. A journeymen carpenter is capable of layout, cutting rafters and stair stringers, side walling, and roofing. Journeymen carpenters at Cape Associates, Inc are working towards obtaining their Construction Supervisor?s License if they don?t already have it. They should be able to read and interpret building plans. REQUIREMENTS: Work independently without as much instruction Read and implement plans Own a full set of tools Knowledge of basic rafters, windows and doors, layout and production framing, layout stairs and railings, fastening schedule, interior trim, built ins and cabinetry Attention to detail and a commitment to highest quality Have more input on the job Planning regarding time and materials Have or pursue CSL Must have a vehicle Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
