Job Title: Customer Payment Specialist

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Pay Range: $22-$25/hr

Cash Application Specialist

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Shift: M-F 8a-5p

Comp: $22-$25

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing the customer payments and contacting customer accounts to identify the customer payments to the right account /customer

  • Communicate with customer to identify payment details.

  • Apply Credit memo to appropriate customers account as necessary

  • Follow through on issues to final resolution

  • Monitor daily unapplied cash balance

  • Assists with customer account maintenance, files as assigned

  • Process credit card payments

  • Run customer statements and review before mailing

  • Run and analyze AR aging reports

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • 0 – 2 years commercial AR/ Cash posting / collection / credit work experience

  • Experience with ERP LX , Navision, Business Central is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced MS Office skills

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Strong problem-solving and research skills

  • Sense of discretion and maintains confidentiality

  • Knowledge ERP LX, Microsoft Navision or Business Central

  • Works under close direction as well as in a team environment
