About the role:

Supporting a CBRE Team in maintaining a financial services location.

Union Control Room Operator - Mon- Fri 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM with flexibility to provide for coverage on other shifts as needed.

What you'll do:

Maintain a total facilities systems management program which includes all the various connected and separate electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems that are operational in a facility.

Follow all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to system operations and work safety.

Inspect systems to ensure the operation of equipment achieves the operational conditions prescribed by the client.

Coordinate incident work order development, work request initiation, and scheduling

Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning assistance as needed.

Review assigned work orders. Estimate time, and resources, and order necessary materials to finish the repairs.

Finish the required and assigned training at a satisfactory level.

Participate in all related programs & activities as the need arises. This includes incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment.

Report any conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and stop work if required.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

Work within broad guidelines and policies.

Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What you'll need:

High School Diploma/GED required, with 4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preferred. Knowledge of emergency response/standby/call out activities and protocols. Strong background in Mechanical building systems

Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with a sophisticated inquisitive attitude.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union Control Room Operator position is $46.06 per hour. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale
