Cisco Partner Operations Manager in North Sydney, Australia
In your new role you will engage externally with Cisco’s Tier 1 Partners and internally with the sales organization and other cross-functional stakeholders to provide commerce operations support, including:
Partner Enablement and Change Management: drive adoption/operationalization with partners in program and capability rollouts
Voice of the Partner: identify a problem backlog to address opportunities for improvement, and solutions for operational issues
Operational Performance management: leverage case and commerce data for operational reviews and process improvements
Large Deal Management: early sensing of strategic deals across product, service and software to ensure operational readiness
Commit management: Commit execution and proactive risk mitigation through deal readiness and engagement with partners and Cisco’s sellers
What you'll do
Create and leverage relationships with the partner community including external channel personnel and internal stakeholders.
Develop an Operations Plan for your Partners, aligning these plans to Cisco sales business plans and Partner’s business priorities.
Agree relevant metrics for the operational plan to measure progress and achievements and identify focus areas.
Use data analytics to conduct reviews and provide differentiated insights to drive productivity and profitability.
Engage in the problem management backlog process to drive improvements in the partners’ experience.
Drive attendance and participation of the right people at Partner operational events.
Enable partners with training and communications on new offerings, business models tools and process changes to drive ease of doing business with Cisco.
Work with the Partner, IT, Commerce Operations and Enterprise sales team to drive operational readiness for commit and transactional support
Ensure continued self-learning especially on new business consumption models, software, acquisitions.

The Partner Operations Manager is part of Regional Operations in Cisco’s Commerce Operations organization. Regional Operations provides operational engagement and advisory services to customers, partners and sales stakeholders across Cisco’s commerce processes for our products, services and software business.

Other experience, which is a distinct advantage includes:
Knowledge of Cisco’s commerce systems (ordering, subscription management)
Knowledge of Cisco technology (Product, Services or Software)
Sales Operations experience especially in IT or Sales environment
Data analytics skills with ability to translate data into business intelligence
Experience in Software Operations & Enterprise Agreement deal structures
