Location: North York, ON located at 25 Sheppard Ave W, North York, ON M2N 6S8; Hybrid

What to Expect:

We are looking for a Marketing Manager, Garden of Life based at our North York location reporting into the Marketing Manager, Specialty Retail VMHS for Nestlé Health Science. This role will lead the strategic roadmap for the brand and contribute to the growth of the Garden of Life portfolio. As the Marketing Manager, you will work on our exciting Vitamins, Minerals, Herbal Supplements (VMHS) business. This is a great opportunity to unlock the potential of a growing brand, define go-to-market strategies, and explore channel expansion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring these plans to life with autonomy and support.

A day in the life:

  • Lead and support the development of 18-month and 3-year plans for Garden of Life in Canada, aligned with Global ambitions.

  • Build brand through actionable insights. Define consumer perceived value, create compelling communication and media strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a relevant and financially sound innovation pipeline.

  • Use consumer insights to build competitive advantage across the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) and grow the core portfolio.

  • Develop annual media and communication plans with external partners for consistent and breakthrough brand experiences.

  • Partner with Sales and Category teams to optimize brand plans at the Customer level.

  • Maximize ROI and spend efficiency. Develop a best-in-class digital strategy for the brand, including eCommerce, DTC website, and CRM.

Role Requirements

  • University degree in Business or Marketing, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful brand/product management experience (including leading agency teams) from CPG, or OTC/Consumer Health environments.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing vehicles and marketing fundamentals

  • Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting assortment planning and inventory management

Preferred Skills

  • Visionary, decisive and analytical nature with the ability to drive business results at the strategic and executional levels.

  • Experience in managing multi-channel and multi-audience (consumer and healthcare professional) marketing communications.

  • Agile and able to pivot in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, comfortable taking calculated risks and doing things differently to carve a new way forward.

  • Ability to manage high priority, complex, and strategic initiatives.

  • Solid knowledge and experience working with Grocery, Drug, Mass retailers such as Loblaws & Walmart, Health Food stores and Online channels
