What to Expect:

You will be responsible for the deployment and support of one or several products within Planning and Controlling as subject matter expert, supporting primarily (but not limited to) Canada on financial reporting, planning and forecasting, with a primary focus on SAP CO-PA.

  • Provide day-to-day support to Finance end users across Canada and North America region (occasionally).

  • Implement finance technology solutions in line with functional stakeholders’ needs and the Management Accounting IT Product Group roadmap, with focus on Planning and Controlling.

  • Translate technical requirements into functional specifications for the business finance team.

  • Support Period End Close and forecasting activities performed by the markets ensuring efficient use and adequate performance of the relevant IT tools.

  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area.

  • Deep knowledge of SAP Controlling modules: Profit Center Accounting and Cost Center Accounting.

  • Previous knowledge on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management application is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area (SAP COPA)

  • Strong understanding of business financial statements reporting cycles and translate requirements from business language to technical requests.

  • Being able to navigate and work on a matrix organization that has local stakeholders while understands and get insights from regional and global product owners.
