What to Expect:

The Sr. Manager, Planning and Digital Acceleration is responsible for process support and leadership for all connected planning digital tools and capabilities at Nestle Canada. Working closely with the appropriate internal and external expert resources, this role is accountable for Developing and executing the Digital roadmaps for Planning function, ensuring optimal functioning of existing tools, timely resolution of any gaps, and stewarding the prioritization and completion of necessary enhancements.

This role will play an important role in developing the digital roadmap for Business Operations and Planning activities for Nestle Canada.

A day in the life:

  • Supports the assurance of stable, effective demand and supply planning processes and associated tools

  • Ensures sufficient functionality of existing digital planning tools and associated data sources

  • Lead the development and execution of the multi-year digital roadmap for the planning function

  • Ensure the integration of digital technologies across all Demand & Supply Planning teams to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy, and deliver KPI results

  • Manage project timelines, prioritization, budgets, and resources to ensure successful implementation.

  • Supports the Supply and Demand Planning Excellence Leads in identifying, developing and implementing process and system solutions to drive supply chain performance

  • Partnership with IT and other departments, both local ang global teams to ensure seamless integration of new digital tools and system

  • Responsible for leading and participating in continuous process improvement initiatives, which may require mapping, kaizen development, LEAN knowledge and project management skills

  • A high degree of connectivity across other markets and externally to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and best suited for Nestle Canada

  • Steward the superuser expert (SME) community to support end users of the ERP and related systems and process compliance

  • Talent management & succession planning for digital enablement team

  • Onboarding, training and performance management for team members as required

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in supply chain planning- cross functional with broad view of E2E value chain, with a focus on digital transformation

  • Ability to lead multiple teams and projects through significant change management; process improvements; and standardization/ simplification efforts

  • Excellent communicator and stakeholder management abilities, working closely with senior leadership to communicate digital strategies and project progress.

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing Supply Chain & Planning processes and digital solutions for performance delivery

  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven strategic decision-making.

  • Proficiency with the latest digital tools and technologies in supply chain planning.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively across departments, with IT partners and other departments

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Lead and mentor a team of planning and digital professionals.

Preferred Skills

  • Completion of University Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; (MBA) beneficial

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in supply and/or demand planning, system development or implementation
