Aerotek 1st Shift Maintenance Technician Paying 25.15/hr in Northbrook, Illinois
Hiring Maintenance Technician's in Northbrook, IL as soon as possible. This position will be in a Metals environment, and you will eventually join the Union!
Must Have:
Must have a positive attitude
Must have at least 1 year of Maintenance Technician experience
Pay(PAID WEEKLY) : $25.15/hr --> Pay increase in June 2024 ($26.40)
every 2 weeks they get a GAIN SHARE bonus which is a bonus tied to how much product their machine produces
$100 quarterly attendance bonus
$375 quarterly safety bonus
Benefits : We offer Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance
Shifts:
Monday - Friday and will have to work rotating weekends.
1st: 7:00am-3:30pm (OT starts at 5am before the shift)
Description:
This Company takes large coils of metals (stainless, aluminum, cooper, steel) and uses a crane to load them in to a machine that will cut them into smaller coils, or large sheets of metals. They are a Union shop so after 90 days, they join the Union.
Maintenance Mechanic
-Will be responsible for equipment and machinery repair - Conveyors, Slitters, Edgers, Cut-to-length machines
-Mechanic will be working with other technicians to perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a daily and weekly basis
-Technician must be willing to perform reactive maintenance as needed
