Aerotek Machine Operator *1st And 2nd Shift* in Northlake, Illinois
The positions they are looking to fill are rewinder setup operators and sheeting operators. These candidates will be taught how to run and operate their 5 rewinding machines as well as their 5 sheet extruders. They will need to be familiar with setting up machinery, making adjustments to speeds and feeds, and performing their own basic troubleshooting on equipment. They will work with the machine helpers to continuously run the product. Once the roll is complete, they will need to perform the necessary cuts/splices, and load the new role on the machine.
The machines run the following:
Sheet size - 80" - 130" wide in diameter
Speed - 2000-5000 ft per minute
1) 6+ months of operating rewinding, sheet extrusion, or corrugating experience
2) Mechanical aptitude - ability to adjust machinery speeds, tensions, ect
3) Troubleshooting experience
1st shift 630 am - 3 pm
2nd Shift 330 pm - 12 am
