Kercom Fiber Optic Technician in Norwich, Connecticut
Kercom is hiring Fiber Multiple Dwelling Unit Bury Technician.
Fiber and/or Coaxial experience preferred but not required.
The technicians primary duties include burying and wiring Multiple Dwelling Units for Fiber.
Responsibilities include burying conduit and running fiber through units, drilling through walls and floors, installing wall plates inside residential or commercial premises.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be professional, reliable, team-oriented, and quality driven. Must follow all safety protocols at all times.
Job Requirements: -Obtain all Job related certifications such as safety and fiber training upon completion of the training program -Operate all necessary power and hand tools -Be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; -Work outdoors in all types of weather -Travel to work sites
Other requirements: Must pass drug screening and background check.
