Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry, located in NOVI, Michigan, United States. The role is for a Sr. Financial Analyst, who will be instrumental in creating detailed financial models, providing business analysis, and conducting financial analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed financial models to support decision-making processes
• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify areas for financial improvement
• Utilize financial modeling techniques to provide insightful financial analytics
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities to align with business objectives
• Perform business valuation tasks to assess the financial health of the company
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their financial needs and provide solutions
• Analyze financial data and create reports for senior management
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances
• Support new business initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends.

Requirements
Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in Business Analysis is required.
Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting is crucial for this role.
Knowledge of Business Valuation methods and techniques is essential.
Proficiency in Financial Modeling is needed.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
Our client requires candidates have OneStream or HFM Experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Familiarity with financial software and systems is a plus.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
