Description and Requirements
Site Supplier Quality Engineer
A Supplier Quality Engineer manages relationships with suppliers with a focus on the improvement of product quality. Performs audits to ensure compliance with quality standards of their organization and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate supplier visit to MTY (on site FA , OSV set upetc)
Perform supplier visits to MX suppliers per request from WW SQE
Support MTY site Pre-Stop assessment as needed
Research, recommend & support 3rd party suppliers for NPI projects and non-expected reworks from Lenovo
Coordinate MTY DIMM PST process
Drive Local FA & AQM team activities as needed.
Resource function for MTY MRB activities/ warehouse availability improvement actions/ WW continues improvement project activities, provide support from SQE standpoint.
Member of MTY Certified Internal Quality Auditor team. Perform On-site Quality audits according to MTY QMS schedule
Impose and ensure compliance with Supplier Quality Standards On-site？
Perform other duties as necessary.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
5+ years of Manufacturing Quality experience
English language skills are required (Spanish language skills also preferred)
Good with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365 software
Focus on customers and positive results
