Position: IT Systems Manager

Position Background:

Manage IT systems for a small business with 50-70 employees. This position requires an in-office presence 40 hours per week at our Oak Harbor, WA main office location. Our company uses cutting-edge construction technology, and we need a strong candidate to help us manage existing and emerging technologies which, until now, have been outsourced. We are interested in starting an IT department, with this position representing the first step in that process. Depending on need and workload, the person filling this position will likely help us hire and train additional IT support staff and move into a leadership role for the newly formed department in the future.

Preferred Experience:

• Microsoft 365 systems setup and management.
• Cybersecurity experience, or at least experience with audit and compliance processes regarding cybersecurity.
• General IT support experience, including customer service and personal workload management.
• Setup, management, and reporting for VPN, SSO and Zero Trust environments.
• Management of portable iOS devices.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Pre-employment and random substance abuse testing, criminal background check, and credit check required.
• Experience managing IT systems.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Uncompromising moral and ethical values.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
