Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, you will be filling in a crucial role previously held by an integral member of our team. Your main responsibilities will be centralized around Azure SQL and relational database systems, with an emphasis on data modeling, database object design, and T-SQL for the successful organization of enterprise data models in the Azure Cloud environment. Your role will be critical in ensuring the security of our databases, promoting, and conducting timely database updates in accordance with our SLAs, supporting disaster recovery tests, and overseeing the overall integrity and performance of the database. Furthermore, your inputs will be required in crafting both logical and physical data models using third-party tools, aimed at streamlining our processes and maximizing efficiency.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role must have strong experience with Azure SQL and a working knowledge of Power BI, Databricks, and Data Pipelines. We're also looking for someone who possesses excellent communication skills, as effective interaction with our team and stakeholders forms a vital part of this role. Familiarity with data modeling, database object design, and T-SQL is necessary for managing the enterprise data models in Azure Cloud efficiently. Nonetheless, our Data Engineering role is a critical one, and we're looking for someone capable of stepping into this position and becoming an integral part of our dedicated team.
